Windows 11 happens to be rolling out to users available, and also the more and more people install it, the more troubles are being discovered.
This time around, reports appear to suggest that Windows 11 is struggling with a clear folder issue which was originally spotted in Windows 10 as well when the previous operating system was still in its early days.
GHacks is reporting that countless empty folders end up being created in the System32 directory for absolutely no reason, by the design of products, the culprit is none other than the Provisioning Package Runtime Processing tool.
The good news is the empty folders can simply be removed without causing any issue, however the bad news is they continues to come back over and over.
Microsoft hasn't acknowledged the issue at this time, however it shouldn't take too long before the company comes up having a fix.
Windows 11 currently rolling out
At this time, however, not every eligible Windows 11 products are already running the operating-system, because the rollout takes place in phases.
Microsoft intends to complete the rollout by the summer of 2022, according to the original announcement.

"That means new eligible devices is going to be offered the upgrade first. The upgrade will then roll out with time to in-market devices according to intelligence models that consider hardware eligibility, reliability metrics, chronilogical age of device and additional factors that impact the upgrade experience. We expect all eligible devices to become offered the free upgrade to Windows 11 by mid-2022. For those who have a Windows 10 PC that's eligible for the upgrade, Windows Update will let you know when it's available."
